I think we MUST remember the storyline in the Life With Archie comic book series (I have the entire run) is equivalent of a alternate reality storyline continuity, akin to DC Comics' Elseworlds series or Marvel Comics' What If? series.

In effect, Life With Archie has two parallel storylines: one where Archie marries Veronica, one where Archie marries Betty. It's been an interesting storyline to read, to say the least as we see what the Archie gang are like as young adults in their (circa) mid 20's.

Thank you Ray. I did not know this or read this anywhere else and it is definitely an important thing to keep in mind. I’m more familiar with Elseworlds (I don’t read Archie) and definitely get the angle now then. There are some really interesting Elseworld storylines out there that would be absolute garbage if interjected into continuity.
