I can’t see how it is, you would have to bite deep enough to rip the guys jugular vein or carotid artery out and the neck muscles which I would imagine would be like tough rubber. A person could probably rip off the top layers of skin, but deep enough to rip out half the neck? I don’t think so.

I wondered about that myself. On one of the threads from last week, a Freeper (can't remember the name) said his wife, a nurse, stated it is possible, especially with good teeth.

As soon as the next group of commercials came on, that was the first thing I asked my wife about.(she's an NP) Paraphrasing here, but she said it was totally possible, especially if the person doing the biting had a good set of teeth. I followed up with your exact question regarding muscle/tissue, ect. She said that artery is very exposed just under the skin, and wouldn't require a 'deep' bite. If the person knew where to bite, it could be done, and the scene wasn't unrealistic.
