Sorry, you're wrong. I say that as a woman who has worn heels for all of my adult life, and as one whose friends and acquaintances have done the same. Height doesn't enter the equation.
There's nothing "inadequate" about the height of females when compared to men. Most women enjoy looking up to tall men. I include myself in that. I'm 5'5", and my husband is 6'2".
