There must be something about the leaf that attracts her attention. I’ve watched her around other plants and she will smell them but hasn’t tried to eat them.

I just talked to S, since she has the same breed of dog, and he's been here when the feral tobacco plant was on the floor. He never messed with it. She reviewed her memories of those visits, and she didn't even warn him off of it, it just didn't exist to him.

The cat food... he had to be warned off of.
