Left it plugged into the outdoor socket and it got rained on. I am letting it dry out before I try it to see if it will still work.

I would let it dry otut a couple of days, in case there is water in some nook or cranny, and I usually move it around from one side to the other, upside down, etc..just in case there's any water trapped in some little spot.
