Yep...good thing he’s okay, but the 88 is toasty-fried. And did you see how hard he hit the ground on the lower part of the track? He didn’t ‘mow the grass’-he was excavating!

Windscreen bar is named “The Earnhardt Bar” due to u-joint coming through the glass at ‘Dega.
Also what lead to going to Lexan.

Remember when SR broke a camshaft at ?ATL?
Pulled motor and replaced camshaft, strained oil through cheesecloth because rules say no new oil during race.
Went back out to get Points.
I think that SR took the Championship by 1 point that season.
