Uhhhhh? Aren’t cops supposed to “serve and protect”? Maybe that’s old fashioned. 75% of the cops make the rest look bad.
Remember. ‘Protect and Serve’ is just a motto holding NO legal standing. Police are armed for THEIR protection, not yours. If this was an honest ‘mistake’ then it calls for an honest compensation. It appears to be a violent over-reaction to a particular situation not calling for such. Having worked with peace officers for over 20 years, I no longer give them the benefit of doubt........
