Remember. ‘Protect and Serve’ is just a motto holding NO legal standing. Police are armed for THEIR protection, not yours. If this was an honest ‘mistake’ then it calls for an honest compensation. So you are saying it has been 15 years since you worked with peace officers. I say this because that about (2001) when they became militarized law enforcement officers.
