Lighten up Francis.
There is no climate agenda in Frozen. It is the retelling of a two hundred year old fairy tale. The sacrifice wasn’t made to save the climate, it was made to save her sister. There are much worse examples of Disney movies with an agenda, i.e. Pocahontas, Wall-E, Cars 2.
You can always find a boogeyman, if you look hard enough.
There is no AGW agenda in Frozen. It is in fact a really well done (in my opinion) cartoon of a very old fairy tale. Lighten up. Sheesh.
Wasn’t there a gay couple?
Inflation: Legalized theft by governments from productive, frugal people so that the government may prolong it’s deficit spending in order to buy votes and pay off cronies.
“Popular Political Ponzi”
In Frozen? No.
Not so much the eco-agenda as the “sisterhood” agenda.
No Prince Charmings need apply!
And yes, this is stated overtly, and even the little girls get the message.
Feminism, Disney Style.
The reporting of movie box office is more for publicity than accuracy and logic. However, there are sites which adjust for inflation.
“accuracy and logic”
Well we all know that’s not gonna happen in hollyweird.
I took that scene as it being his kids. Didn’t see it as his partner.
Nope.
It has a a sisterhood agenda because the girls are literally sisters. As it turns out, the Prince Charming is a jerk and the the guy the main character ends up with, while not literally a prince, is a prince of a fellow. The sisters learn to love each other in spite of uncontrollable circumstances that prevent that. The act of true love that reverses the curse is actually one sister saving the other’s life. It’s a great lesson for girls actually.
There is no feminist agenda in the movie, just like there is no AGW agenda.
If it isn’t the #1 animated movie (soon) then it should be.
Frozen is a great movie that is very much like the old school Disney Movies. Good music and songs, great characters and lots of good laughs.
All good things, all good things.
