My 10 year anniversary !! seems like yesterday. couple hundred threads posted almost 5,000 replies.
i coulda learned golf in the time i spent on freeps.
seriously though, still my number one go to site. constantly amazed at the breadth of the community on the site and how much there is yet to be learned.

I will be here 16 years in October. We need to have a reunion for those of us still here. I have my original name too. I miss some of the early freepers. I made a really dear friend here and we exchanged emails, pictures and Chrismas cards all that time. She became very ill and is not with us any longer.
I have never posted much, just prefer to read the discussions others get into. It is still my go to place also... for any information. Such knowledgeable folks around here!

I delayed signing up because now had to give an email address. Up til then, it was all anonymous. Of course, the trolls were rampant and beginning to become a problem.
After hemming and hawing for a day or two, I figured that whatever the Clintons would or could do to me was irrelevant. Someone had to speak up. And we did.
Congrats, I think the year 2000 had the most sign ups. Lots of us flooded the gates around then.
