Damn that sucks, its hard losing a parent at any age, condolences to the Beck family
Well sorry for his loss, but how is he different of all the rest of us who have lost someone, other than Glenn being a celebrity of sorts. My Dad passed away at 90 after a life of many, many years of hard work and service but no one put out a press release for me.
Prayers for Glenn and his family.
heartfelt condolences to Glenn and his family.
I lost my parents and my inlaws. Not easy.
Hope Glenn and family find solace.
Rest in Peace.
Good point.
My deepest sympathy. RIP.
Prayers up. It’s not an easy path we walk in life. God Bless the Beck family.
Sorry to hear, condolences to Glenn and family.
Glenn is no different from the rest of us. When we know someone, however remotely, we sympathize with the sorrows in that person’s life.
Those of us who watch Glenn’s show knew what was happening. Perfectly normal that he would put out the word that his father had passed.
Blessings to Glenn and his family.
Prayers up for Glenn and his family! The Lord has your back Glenn. He will help you heal.
ok. I'm sorry for your loss. Happy?
Does it really matter if someone that doesn't know you or your dad mourn your loss?
My dad passed away and I could care less what anybody though about my dad passing. I just knew that I had lost a trusted advisor, wise mentor, real hard ass, loving grandfather/father/husband/son, and great guy. Bunch of Marines came to the funeral, lined up, shot their rifles and gave my mom a flag.
If every member of congress, the President, all the supreme court justices and the entire readership of the New York Times had been there it would have been a pale lonely comparison to those Marines, his family and friends. Those are the only ones that really matterer in his life and to me.
so if you think by making a snarky little comment about some dad's passing makes you somehow feel "better".... ok. more power to you brother. Somebody's dad died. We're all a little worse of if he was a good guy and better off if he were a a#@hole, either way I'm pretty sure they could care less what any press clipping or other person thinks.
God Bless Your Dad. May he rest in eternal peace.
I lost my Mom at 87 (RN) 2 yrs ago. Dad turns 90 in 2 weeks, WWII Battle of The Bulge Vet, wounded and decorated.
Our Parents are our Heros; reminds me of an old saying:
“Not everyone can be a hero. Most of us have to stand on the curb and cheer as the heroes go by.”
I hadn’t heard much about this. Occasional listener and missed it. Do we know what he’s been dealing with?
Btw, I agree. We all know Glenn through the radio and tv and an announcement is fully appropriate.
I’m afraid I’ve missed a lot of the news also. I only know that he & other family members had been called home, as it was clear the end was in sight. I don’t know if his father had been suffering from anything in particular.
My prayers for your family. It’s hard to lose a parent or grandparent no matter who you are.
Glenn’s father passed away at the age of 86.........
He lived a long life. Rest in peace!
Well snarky is what I do! Sorry but Everyones loss is important them, I feel for them, but this bunk of big publication of death just because someone in their family is famous is just freakin overblown. Just like the people who have to memorialize their loss on their freakin cars! I mean what’s the deal, can’t they remember without looking at their car every day. OH, I didn’t make a snarky comment about his dads passing bro! I made a snarky comment about his publicist making a press release about it, different thing entirely! But I guess you were too busy getting snarky to catch on to that.
