As much as I detest and despise Stephen Colbert and anything that he stands for, I too think the Asians in this country just need to get the hell over it.
If they’re upset over “ching chong ding dong” and the like, they should spend a couple of days in a bald white man’s shoes say, at a black or latino comedian’s show where they’ll hear every tame and vile epithet, innuendo and stereotype known to man. And these guys don’t get to complain and be ‘outraged and upset’.
I found humor in Colbert at first, however, he almost exclusively targeted Republicans and Conservatives. His show became tiresome and boring. Haven’t watched it in 6-7 years.
Why not? Bald white guys have just as much right to speak out about racial stereotypes as anyone else.
Perhaps they should. That might level the playing field and expose the Left as the hypocrites they really are.
Why should one (or two) racial groups be treated as a "protected class" in a country that professes to see all people as equals?
