Strange, you would think that such a requirement would be widely discussed by elected officials if it's so popular among voters. Plus, the citizenship requirement to vote, in and of itself, is already on the books in every state of the Union. Yet, to the best of my knowledge, not a single congresscritter nor state legislator has been making a big issue about voter registrants proving citizenship. Not even "conservative" Republicans. What the heck are they scared of?
Our SOS in Michigan tried to get a citizenship requirement for voting but the courts shut her down. We do have a check box that says you’re a legal voter which needs to be signed.
As if they have all been bought and Paid for
If they talk about it, the media will label them a racist.
That is what they’re afraid of.
78% Favor Proof of Citizenship Before Being Allowed to Vote
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 78% of Likely U.S. Voters believe everyone should be required to prove his or her citizenship before being allowed to register to vote.
Thats up from 71% a year ago. Just 19% oppose that requirement.

Thanks, justiceseeker93.
Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz has made this an issue. Obama has refused him access to the federal E-Verify database to verify citizenship.
The media shills for the Demagogic Party; meanwhile, it’s smart to keep the powder dry for the campaign season, you know how long it always seems before it’s done.
Indeed. Thanks for the ping!
Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Did they poll the likely voters in the boneyards? They all speak with heavy accents, and so do their “aids” who push the levers for them. Their vote matters, too, and all the dead people are adamantly opposed to being disenfranchised by these racist tea baggers with their 79%. Zombo-Americans have the right to get up and vote, too.
Just plain common sense that everyone should have a proof of citizenship voters card to vote.
Thanks for pings Justice and LucyT
