Our SOS in Michigan tried to get a citizenship requirement for voting but the courts shut her down. We do have a check box that says you’re a legal voter which needs to be signed.
(1)Does the form specifically include the statement "I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN" next to the check box?
(2)Is that statement signed under penalty of perjury if it turns out to be false?
