In several threads on FR this past week, as well as in the conservative media for a long time now, I have been amazed at the number of avowed conservatives who still talk about Obama as if he is merely incompetent, rather than purposefully diabolical in his destructive domestic and foreign policies.
This Sunday is admittedly a little long in the tooth for a really robust weekend vanity post before the news cycle hits again in the AM, but I suppose it is not altogether too late to start a discussion by asking the obvious: how can any Freeper in their right mind still cling to the belief, at this stage, that Obama is not destroying this nation deliberately and by design?
Barack Obama is the son of the devil.
Conservatives seek character in a leader.
Liberals look for charisma.
The crease in Obama's trousers, the power crackling from Clinton's jeans -- these are the things that turn liberals on.

That is the sad truth.
By May of '09 the intent of his every action was clear to me, "burn, baby, burn!," and he has been consistent ever since.

The first moment I ever laid eyes and ears on him during the ‘08 campaign, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Never once since then has he said or done a single thing that has caused me to question that impression in the least.

What makes you think that it is HIS plan? A puppet can be made to look and sound however his masters wish.
I see nothing in Obumbo’s past that makes him look anything other than an ordinary product of affirmative action.
In fact, most everything about Obama has been sealed away.

Obama is the man who isn’t there. He is an empty suit, an empty chair, and a puppet for a lot of other very bad people.
Give that whatever name that fits.
My opinion, and it is only my opinion, that he is God's punishment on America for abandoning Him. I have heard it said, people will be ruled by God, or they will be ruled by tyrants. Just my opinion.
There is no doubt that great cause for fear exists with such a monster in the WH but my emotional reaction is to want to beat him senseless just for being a slimy worm. A very atypical reaction for me but it hasn't changed with time which is also unusual.
That tells me it's not me it's him.
I agree re: the media. They are the true enemies.

The hoax Obama has destroyed the American system of government and the American economy. He led the attack personally, influenced by pan-Leninism and Islam, and his homosexual proclivities. He is morally, spiritually, and politically, a sociopath, intent on destroying freedom, liberty, life, respect, ambition, and the Christian religion in America. The republic has ceased to function, and is bankrupt. These are the facts. We now live in a criminal amoral kleptocracy. The American empire is now descended into decadence - recovery will be revolutionary. I wish that was not the case, yet the truth is what it is. FE
I do not believe Obama wakes up in the morning and thinks “Yippee another day of destroying America”. What he wants to do is what he said all along “Radically transform America”. To do that, of course, the America you grew up with and love must change or die and then be remade in his own image! Are his actions diabolical? Without doubt. Does he think he is destroying America? No he thinks he is making for a shiny new Marxist tomorrow!

The depressing thing is that so many educated people could not see through this guy.

And that is my point: the huge number of supposed conservatives who still insist on giving this would-be tyrant the benefit of the doubt simply astounds me.
Just how dumb does one have to be to not see through this guy, not to see his hatred for everything that made this country great, and not to see that what he’s doing to destroy its greatness is a deliberate effort. If he is merely a puppet, which is perhaps a partially accurate analogy, he is certainly a very enthusiastically complicit one.
