Gapping points with a matchbook cover, sanding-off distributor cap points... until you could afford to get new ones, the old ones were made to last a while.

Heh. 3/8” tempered glass, full outer door insert, for cold and winter months, replaced by screen door insert for spring and warmer months.

Yes I had the middle one. Sold it for $750 to buy my SCAR....previous offer $300 because the FFL said rimmed fire were not made to cycle in semi auto. I sold it because it jammed so much no way would I ever carry it. Fun to shoot, very flat flat shooter and accurate with little recoil when you weren’t dropping the slide to unjam it. It’s pretty! I would never buy one again at any price.

38 deg tonight, but I mowed the lawn yesterday. TheBoy hasn't dragged the mower out yet. I'm glad he can do it, keeps me in the cool air.
