I know a Turkish guy who is just like you but even older: 86 and has all his original teeth and says he just always brushed. Me, I’m only 51 and to date have lost about 1/3rd of my teeth. One reason is when I was 21 I went to a dentist who drilled the hell out of them just to get the insurance money, but another reason is I rarely brushed them and never went to another dentist because of the experience with that creep. For years I believed all dentists did was destroy your teeth so they could get as much money as possible. Man oh man, the pain I went through I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I broke my leg, arm, had a serious ear infection that caused me to go partially deaf, oh yes and I broke my knee cap once. None of that came even close to the teeth pain I went through.

Indeed most dentist will over-work on your teeth to make
the most money. I am lucky to have a dentist who is personal
friend and does the least amount of drilling necessary.
