Great post. Thanks!!

You'd think the govt would know whether or not TRICARE for life qualifies.

I looked at one of the footnotes for this paper. SECDEF Gates declared that TRICARE meets ACA requirements. So it begs the question: What is the utility of sending this form out?

Also, there is nothing in the letter suggesting that any veteran is REQUIRED to fill out this form and send it to the VA. Something is fishy.

I am the Post Adjutant at my local VFW and I always remind vets to bring such questions to their post Service Officer.

My question to Obama and his regime is where are the cuts to the programs for the millions of leaches in our Country who have not done anything more than take up space and take in oxygen?

Are U.S. Veterans Selfish?

As the Pentagon budget vise tightens, those who served complain over cuts

It’s an impudent question, but one that naturally surfaces given the outrage rolling in from assorted veterans’ groups as Congress and the Pentagon seek ways to trim government spending that sometimes affect those who have volunteered to fight America’s wars.

It’s also the predictable downside to enlisting only 1% of the nation’s citizens to fight, and possibly die, to strive to achieve national goals.

When presidents and congresses insist on waging war with no shared sacrifice, it should come as scant surprise that those who have done all the sacrificing squawk when their expected benefits end up on the chopping block.

George W. Bush: We Owe the 1 Percent — The Military

on Breitbart TV 19 Feb 2014
In a speech at the George W. Bush Institute on Wednesday, President Bush gave remarks about the military and how that 1 percent protects the other 99 percent of Americans.

“Since 9/11, more than 2.5 million Americans have worn the uniform,” Bush said. “They have faced down our enemies, they’ve liberated millions, and in so doing showed the true compassion of a great Nation. They are the 1 percent of America who kept the 99 percent safe. And we owe them, and their families, a deep debt of gratitude.”
