GRAHAM, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina 19-year-old faces jail time after pulling down his pants while walking away from a judge.

What emboldens a 19-year-old to act in such a disrespectful way in a courtroom? When I was that age, I'd be sweating bullets if I was called into court as a defendant.
I bet he came from a home where the parents didn't believe in corporal punishment - or maybe he just had the one parent who was a doormat.
My two sons are in their 20s and they know better. They also know that I would disown them if they ever acted in such a way.
They also know how to wear a belt to keep their pants up. What is with this fashion of wearing pants that are two sizes too big? Do they really think that looks good on them? And what about the girls? Would they consider having a boyfriend who dressed this way?
If some of these low-riders survive long enough to become very elderly, they will be the old guys that refuse to wear suspenders or belts, or even use velco, and as a consequence will be a high percentage of the annual incident Critical Senior Fall Syndrome.
Hold my pantsand watch this ping!

I’ve heard this “fashion” actually came from the prison system. The little girlie boys trolled for partners and cigarettes using this method. ( At least that’s what I told my nephew and he stopped wearing them like that!)
1. Relocated Yankees
2. Duke and UNC university values
3. Durham and chapel Hill.
How you doing in these “interesting times”? Stay safe.
Sounds similiar to a story I heard while in the Navy.
A sailor who was going in front of the Captain for disciplinary reasons removed his Petty Officer Third Class (PO3) insignia (crow) from his uniform and sewed Seaman stripes on, then tacked the crow on top. When the Captain awarded him “reduction in rate” the sailor ripped off the crow. The Captain said, “That’s very good.....let’s see you do it again!!”
I’m doing very well, thanks! I hope you are too. These are interesting times indeed.
