$18mm for charging people to attend a party in the desert where they have to bring or buy all their own amenities, transportation, shelter and entertainment.
In their defense, they do spend a lot of money on infrastructure beforehand and cleanup after, but I'm sure they still laugh all the way to the bank. The thing is, I was talking with some people about Burning Man and they said "Oh, we'll never get a ticket, besides it's too expensive." So I saud, "Let's just do our own version of Burning Man. We can even do it in the same place - it's just BLM-controlled land in the desert - anyone can go there. We do it the month before or so." But nobody wants to do that, because most people are fat, lazy sheep who want everything done for them, and besides, it's a status thing among the left-wing yuppie hipsters to say they went to the "real" Burning Man.

***That’s because they’re too stupid to know where real lefties go: The Rainbow Gathering.

I wonder what the carbon footprint of Burning Man is? Do these liberals who go there buy their carbon offsets so they don’t feel guilty???
