Have to disagree.
A person’s life begins the moment it can be ended by another person.
What, her baby never kicked?
Lady--facts which are determined through objective scientific observation and experimentation are not subject to personal interpretation. If it is raining outside, I cannot make the rain cease to exist because there is no room for rain in my personal world.
The nervous system begins to form at 3 weeks after conception. By 5 weeks, the brain has taken on its role as master controller of the body. Inherent in that role is the ability to feel and experience input from outside the body. In other words, those children your organization so gleefully kills are quite able to feel the pain of being crushed, dismembered, etc.--regardless of their mother's personal belief system.
More anti-science liberalism.
So, Mary Lou decides her children's life begins at 12 months, then strangles them at 6 months because they were just ruining her life. A la Casey Anthony.
I'm not going to look it up, but it seems to me that a woman in the UK can kill her baby up to 2 years of age and suffer no prosecution if she claims post partum depression.
A shameless liar, and a moron. A perfect fit for that degenerate organization.
You don’t have to dive into new age philosophy to answer this one. Science tells me that a unique human being is created at conception. My set of values tell me that human life should not be lightly taken.
Someone might arbitrarily decide that Richards isn’t human yet, and that opinion would be just as valid.
It should be noted these are two separate questions.
When life starts is a scientific question. It obviously begins at conception.
When that life becomes a human being is a cultural, philosophical, legal and/or religious question.
In most of the ancient world a child did not become a human being, in the sense used here, until the head of the house (or, in Sparta, the State) decided to accept that child and raise it as a member of the household.
In some cultures the baby wasn't considered a person or human being until named.
To my mind the scientific start of a new life is also when a new being with a right to life comes into existence.
But I make that determination on cultural and religious grounds, not scientific ones. This question is not subject to scientific determination.
How can a child be stillborn, then?
Did she look at ultrasounds of her pregnant womb? Ooohing and Ahhhing? If so, why? They weren’t children yet.
Im the mother of three children. For me, life began when I delivered them.
Tell them that and see what kind of nursing home you end up in.
So, this guy believes in spontaneous generation. My high school biology teacher debunked that theory. This guy is nothing less than a lying POS, and a dumb one at that.
Skank promoting the killing of nascent human life for $$$.
Well, libtards, if life only begins at birth, we’ll just cut off funding for pre-birth pregnancy care.....
Only by liberals trying to justify abortion.
It is not something that I feel like is really part of this conversation, she said. I think every woman needs to make her own decision.
Human life is not based on a subjective decision. It's based on science which says life begins at conception.
