We need Bridge Control. Does San Francisco have a Bridge License. Do they realize that Bridges Kill People? Do they realize that 46 people would still be alive if this bridge had been taken down, a step that any sane person can see would be the prudent thing to do.

I have always wanted to surf at Fort Point under the bridge. I might have to rethink that particular item on my bucket list.
That is one every 8 days. There was a documentary made a few years ago where they just left a camera running pointed at the bridge. One guy who survived says he knew the instant he jumped that he had made a mistake. He asked God to save him.

i concur... there is so much i love about the city of San Francisco itself... the quirkiness--i do not mind... i can even appreciate... but there is such depravity--in various forms... such a bastion of that dark element in that city...
I saw a documentary about SF that showed an infestation of drug addicts, a lot of whom were transients. The places shown looked like real sh*tholes. That said, I bet the guys are really friendly . . . :-(
Just be glad that the courts keep saying no every time another greedy plaintiff lawyer tries to sue the taxpayers who own the bridge.
