I have long suspected as much, a lot of freepers seem to do that, that's why one gets so many questions that have been answered previously on the thread in 'conversation' with others. I have always recommended reading an entire thread, regardless if one is being addressed or not.
I barely have time to breathe, with the computer battles I’ve been dealing with, as well as processing and preparing a LOT of material. People I should be communicating with one-on-one aren’t even getting responses from me right now because I’m so snowed under just trying to do basic tasks on my computer.
One of my “sent” emails was removed from my “sent” folder and replaced with a different one, even though the title, addressee, time, the presence of attachments in the sent email, etc were still there on the line as if nothing had been done. You click to see that sent email and it’s the email right below that one that shows up. I’ve got a photo of it. That’s the kind of thing I’m dealing with.
Which email was it? The one to the FAA asking whether they wrongly closed BOTH of my request files because the gal in Seattle said I had 2 weeks to say I’d pay $2000 and the one in DC said I had a month from receiving their denial to appeal the denial... I haven’t gotten a response in the last 10 days from this gal and when I went to find the email I sent, to forward it to her and ask if she got it, that particular “sent” email had been removed from my Outlook Express files. Nice, huh? I wonder who did that, and why they wanted to screw up my communications with the FAA...
I agree. Even when you start the thread, you can miss things if you only read from your ping list. Better to read the thread in context.
