Scot Hamilton explained it this AM. The new judging rules consider the beauty of the dance quite a bit, and a perfect program might fall short if the gymnastics overwhelm the art.

I'm getting guilty pleasure out of the pre-ordained winners falling short. It's happened with these women and it happened with the speed skaters. They haven't been gracious. Besides which it's real easy for someone who's too sure of themselves to fall a bit short.

So I'm not blaming the judges. Maybe having one older skater in the trio instead of three teenagers might've better prepared them for the intensity of this competition, and the nuances of how the voting goes.

There are some great stories being told. Isn't it something how most of them belong to those who are grateful for this opportunity to reach beyond expectations?

Right on.

Wagner should not have even been there. She stole someone else’s spot.

What a whiny brat!
