“I spent my young adulthood getting smashed up in motorcycles racing crashes and rally car accidents.”

My friend has undergone multiple back surgeries as a result of the jarring as well as knee and hip replacements.

I worked at a Gas station back in the 80s and one day the boss/owner came up and offered us Health Insurance. It was Blue cross/blue shield, the Cadillac of plans back in the day and it was cheap. I signed up for it because I figured it was like a Perk.
It was a Big deal for a 22 year old to have Blue Cross/Blue shield.
Now Obama is pushing this Yugo Health Plan on young people. Cant blame them for not signing up for this clumsy and expensive plan.

I haven't had to undergo back surgery yet, but I've had three surgeries on my left ankle, two on my left knee, one on my left foot, one on my right knee, two on my left wrist/thumb, I have torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders, and I'm lately developing arthritis in joints that I didn't even know could get arthritis.

But I don't regret it - not even a little. Roadracing motorcycles did positive things for my brain that no other activity I have engaged in to date has been able to do.
