Nice piece of engineering! I used to run 351W in my race cars but would bore and stroke them to be 408 to 410 Cubic inches. The weight difference between the big block 427 is over 120 pounds more than the Windsor, and the 351 Cleveland was 80 pounds more,and is why I preferred the Windsor.

I've still got a Cleveland sitting in the garage. Been there for almost 30 years.

Kinda hard to beat the mod motors of today. They just breath so well.

If money weren’t an issue, I’d love to get a GT40 from Superformance and a Robert Pond aluminum FE block and aluminum SOHC heads and a Hillborn injection system.But I don’t forsee that happening anytime soon.

The RPM block is 75lbs less than the original FE block. You can take it up to about 500 ci.
