We only saw the last three laps ourselves. Very happy for Regan Smith.
Put the ribs on the Traeger mid afternoon and then went snowshoeing. Came home to a hot hot-tub, cold shower, cooked ribs and vanilla ice-cream with a chocolate / raspberry balsamic vinegar topping. Life is very, very good. As per our usual M.O. we will record the race (church and lunch w/son) then watch it later in the afternoon. Good luck this year -

How are pit stall's chosen? by qualifying results, the 1st choose their stall and so on. If a car/driver has to go to the rear of the field before the start of the race due to driver change, backup car, engine/transmission change, etc they do NOT lose their pit stall selection

I was happy to see Regan Smith win. He's a local track racer who made it to the big leagues. He has the #78 car in Sprint Cup racing but lost the ride to Kurt Bush who left the the next year for Stewart Haas racing. I didn't know he was driving for Juniors team. And he beat Keselowski at he line who stole the win from him last year at Daytona.
Hope today's Daytona 500 will be as much fun to watch.

Yeah, that made Mama happy because it was JRM, She would have rather it be Jr. But one for the Team no less. Jr also has Chase Elliot running the Season, and Bill is pretty much a consultant.
Yes, ready to get a Green Flag dropped. It’s 02:11 here in NC and I’m still up.
NHRA is on ESPN2 right now.

Ruh Roh,
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. The Daytona 500 will likely start on time despite an iffy forecast, according to a nationally recognized meteorologist. But whether it finishes without a rain delay is another story.
Brian Neudorff, known as the unofficial NASCAR weatherman, told USA TODAY Sports he’s 80% sure rain won’t affect the start of Sunday’s race (1 p.m. ET, Fox; green flag is scheduled for 1:30). But scattered showers could pop up in the area during the late afternoon, which could cause several stoppages for weather.
