Did Dale Jr. miss his pit in the Nationwide race? Again? As much as I like him, he peaked out years ago. That crash he caused after the race was over was such a rookie mistake. I have to give him credit though for offering to give Joe N and that other guy new car bodies for free.

This is the first time since Richmond that Fox and the Waltrips have been covering the races.
Since Michael Waltrip is going to be prancing around the tracks again this season, did anyone on the Fox team do any real journalism here and ask Waltrip about his role in causing NASCAR to have to change the competition rules mid-season last year?
Or is it all just down the memory hole by now?

Decent Anthem...Nice Thunderbirds fly by... crowd seems a bit spase...not the usual level of excitement. Hope that isn’t an omen of the race, especially for Dillon.
