Are those prices typical of most asian markets? Obviously I haven’t been in one. I searched yesterday to find one kinda close, but no go. There are several big ones in Megatrpolis, 50 miles south of here. My old truck does not do well at highway speeds, so I don’t get out on the Interstates to go places.

Prices are typically lower at asian or hispanic stores, and you can find stuff like chicken's feet that other stores don't carry.

Nothing makes better chicken stock than chicken's feet.

The only one I have shopped regularly is Tim's. It has great service, selection, and prices. There is a Korean one I'd like to check out, but it's on the ENE side of San Antonio fifteen miles further, and Tim's is closer. Even though Tim's is not some Asian Superstore,it has tons of stuff, and I could easily spend a couple of hours there.

Since his Asian veggies come from Houston, I would think you would find better prices there, plus it has a larger Asian populace than San Antonio.
