Boy I heard that. We have the tornadoes and electrical outages pretty often, so I grew up stock piling and being prepared. Course we did a lot of camping so Dad could hunt or fish.
I thought every one lived that way. Then they started calling it prepping. Whatever LOL. I call it smart living and using the brains that God gave you.
After I got married, every time we had a few extra bucks, I would buy a case of something on sale, and stash it in the bottom of the bedroom closet, since the kitchen was too small and had almost no pantry space.
Memories when Audrey hit, we were camping ,Tarp as a tent mosquito bars and some old mattress for beds and we ran trot-lines all nite catching catfish when the bayou was low,fishing the deeper pools. Now them was the days ;)
