And I did see “Twister”, also, but his role must have been unmemorable in it.

He played Dustin Davis, the little unkempt guy who drove the convert school bus in Doc Jo Harding's (Helen Hunt) convoy. When Bill Harding (Bill Paxton) teamed up with Doc Harding, He then drove Dr. Reeves (Jamie Gertz), calling her sweetheart and putting his arm around her.

When Doc Miller's (Cary Elwes) black truck convoy drove past, he jumped out on the road and pointed at each truck, shouting (Loser!)

It was fun to watch him because he had a lot of fun playing the role. Then the next role was the little homo in Boogie Nights. That's when he began to slip into the dark characters.

Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise gained traction on Friday after a ‘R.I.P. Philip Seymour Hoffman’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. He played his share of creepy characters but that You Tube video is not entirely representative of his career as an actor. He was after all a “character actor”, not leading man material but someone very good at playing a wide range of characters.

"Fentanyl is very, very powerful.."

A kidney stone once sent to the hospital where they gave me Fentanyl. They might just as well have fed me skittles, so then they gave me whatever is the next step up and it took me to some other place and some other time, but the pain got left behind.

I’ve never heard of him and I don’t recall seeing any of those films.

You missed a few:

2006 Mission: Impossible III
2007 Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
2007 The Savages
2007 Charlie Wilson's War
2008 Synecdoche, New York
2008 Doubt

2014 A Most Wanted Man
2014 God's Pocket
2014 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
2015 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2

I've seen about 9 of them. He was most memorable to me in Almost Famous and Charlie Wilson's War, which was a fantastic performance, even though he was second banana to Tom Hanks. It's a mark of a good character actor that he can appear in some otherwise riveting films and you don't remember him in particular; but a look at his Wikipedia page shows how many awards he won.

He nailed his part in Charlie Wilson's War. I had dinner with a U.S. government worker in Arusha Tanzania. She knew the CIA Gust Avrakotos and said the Seymour did a great job portraying him.

Sad to loss someone with so much talent
