Nothing we experience on this earth is permanant - it’s a passing through. Keep your eyes on Jesus, Trussell. He is the Great Physican.
Father God,
May the healing presence of Holy Spirit flow through Trussell. Give him rest and peace that passes understanding at this time. Relieve his pain.
Thank you that the new device that will be inserted in his body. Give his doctor and nurses wisdom as they treat him.
In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
Oh, dear, I hope things improve for you soon.
Try to stick to eating very mild or bland foods. When I was dreadfully ill with an infection, it would take me 2-3 hours just to get down a dry bowl of Cheerios. You just have to do your best to get it down. Other meals like chicken noodle soup are good to go with and roast beef cold cuts. Just take it slow, and remember we’re all pulling for you with our continued prayers.
I am truly sorry to hear of your suffering. You are in my prayers. Do you not have anyone coming in to help you get your medicine?
Prayers; I’m just thankful you’re getting treatment and there’s progress in your condition, you’re getting this mess fixed up.
AS for the pain, remember what our Savior went through to take the burden of sin off of our backs.
I am so sorry that this season is not ending.
My The Lord bring you out of this season with Glory and Thanksgiving.
Prayers continued.
Are there not nurse or nurse aids available to help in such matters?
God bless you through your suffering. May the 25th bring the relief you seek and need.
There you go! At least they didn’t give yoiva humorectomy
Please change the “Him and He” to “her and she”, otherwise...God knows who you are talking about, I’m sure HE can figure it out. Thank you for the prayers!
Thank you ALL for the prayers! They are so very much appreciated!
I’ve been trying to eat the liptons chicken noodle soup, with extra noodles...it’s my favorite, but it’s still not easy to eat. It’s going to be good for my diet...maybe I’ll loose a few more pounds.
No, they didn’t set up home health this time...and NOBODY in the house is willing/able to help me with my morning meds. I wish I had more room to put a tray next to the bed instead of 3 feet away at the wall...maybe I’ll have to start sleeping on the couch until I can get better.
I would never allow that...I rely on that too much to give it up. :)
Because I have trouble walking, I sleep with everything I might need within reach of me. Otherwise getting up just flares up the pain.
I’m so sorry to read of your troubles. I pray you are getting some news on the horizon that will give you faith you are on the mend. You will be in my prayers...and thank you for keeping me in yours!
I had the injections, they didn’t work for me. The disc collapsed and they said they had no choice but to do the surgery then...my body produces too much scar tissue and that is what caused my back surgery to fail. They talked about ablation, but that was prior to the collapse.
They wanted me on the patches, but my insurance wanted a proir authorization and the doctor’s office considers that the same as a “NO”...and does something different, in this case, it was the cream...it works good on my hands, but nothing else. They wanted to try morphine and got the same response from my insurance, so now I’m just getting higher doses of dilaudid. (which isn’t doing as much as I would like...but is doing some better since Friday)
I try to get it as close as I can, but the bed is sitting just inside the door, so I have to put my stuff on the other side of the door, so it’s the width of the door away from me. I may have to make some changes until I get better.
You’re right, Trussel. God bless you. You are going to be OK.
Lord Jesus, give Thy servant the strength she needs to combat this illness, and bring her through to complete healing, to Thy greater glory.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
Perhaps it would be wise to move to the couch if you can set things up to make life a bit more bearable. Lord willing soon you will as hoped, be ready for the device programming in order to manage the pain.
