“I get the 16 oz. clear cups, not 9 oz.”

I like the 69 cent hard plastic 5 inches across and 4 inches deep pots with the excess water catcher underneath. Once I buy them, they will last forever, won’t have to replace them. I bought 20 of them and need to buy 20+ more. The plants can expand a lot in these larger pots before transplanting to their final container.

Johnny taught me to use 5 oz. paper cups for the seeds and to only water them from the bottom so I use an ice pick and make a few holes in the cup close to the bottom and put a few in the bottom. So far, almost every seed planted that way has germinated.

I use the 16oz Solo cups, too. Of course, I'll have hundreds of plants in them, and can't afford the fancy pots. I do get several years of use out of the Solo cups.
