You mean the same National Enquirer that broke the John Edwards / Rielle Hunter story that the entire MSM was ignoring, and which turned out to be right on the money, and then subsequently destroyed Edwards’ career?

It is difficult to ignore them completely because they have occasionally broken some factual stories. However, I used to see "Bombshell Divorce" stories on a regular basis during W's presidency about George and Laura Bush divorcing as well.

It was The Globe which pushed the Bush divorce rumors. The National Enquirer has a better track record.

Should I be ashamed that I read trash? Perhaps. But at least I haven't fallen low enough to believe The New York Times.

Are you sure those Bush divorce stories weren't in "The Star" or one of those other rags that's usually right next to the Enquirer at the checkout stand?
