I watched the Colts, in person, beat the Chiefs and the Niners and Smith was much, much better of the two. Not even close.
Now you’re talking single games. Colin’s laid a few eggs this season. But he’s a better QB over the whole season, stronger, faster, with a deeper ball and a run threat, he’s just got to work on his consistency. Once he develops accuracy from the pocket he’ll be top 5 in the league, right now he’s top 10, Smith is your basic Trent Dilfer-esque game manager.
OK I just looked up the stats on those games, both players were HORRIBLE. Smith went 16 of 28 for 153 yards 1 INT no TDs and sacked 5 times. Colin went 13 of 27 for 150 yards 1 INT no TDs and sacked 3 times. Looks like a push to me.
