When I watched the Colts beat the Niners I thought he lost that game for them too. He’s peaked. Niner’s gave up on a better QB for him.
There’s some website where all of his tattoos are shown and explained. It’s all Psalms and a prayer and on his back he’s got a war going on where demons are being trampled by angels. All religious tattoos. He’s apparently said he’s a serious Christian.
Obviously if the doctors don’t clear him then yeah, but who really sees that happening? He certainly isn’t performing like there’s a problem with his neck again.
All it takes is one hit from the wrong angle and it’s hurt again....
Alex Smith is not a better QB. He can’t scramble, he has no arm. Smith’s only strength is that he’s very accurate, so long as the throw is less than 15 yards, problem is over 15 yards he just can’t do. Smith is at best a game manager, Colin can win games, unfortunately he’s also got the streakiness that lets him lose games too, but that can be trained out of him. This was his first full season as a starter, and his second conference finals, there’s skills there.
You misspelled 'Romo'.
That’s true for everybody. Meanwhile if he’s healthy he’s coming back next year, ESPECIALLY if he gets his second ring. Nobody healthy is walking away after the season he’s had, except Jim Brown who’s possibly insane (and also was on a terrible team that would never get him a championship).
Update: An 6.3m quake is reported(per Twitter) to have hit the North Island of New Zealand...around the time of Seattle winning the game...give or take a few minutes...
Smith won only one less game in the regular season but for the season passed for more yards and had a better completion percentage. And doesn't make nearly as many stupid mistakes.
I'm wondering if Romo hasn't played his last NFL game.
Win or lose, that's going to be one heckuva game... Good luck to your team!
Actually my team is the Colts and the only way they go to the super bowl is if they buy a ticket. I was rooting for the Broncos because of the Peyton connection. That's a pretty good reason though.
Smith won one less game with one of the easiest schedules in the league, the Niners had more wins against teams that finished over 500 (4) than the Chiefs had GAMES against teams that finished over 500 (2, of which they won 1). Sorry but there is no world where Smith is a better QB.
I watched the Colts, in person, beat the Chiefs and the Niners and Smith was much, much better of the two. Not even close.
Had to put the gimp outfit on him and chain Khent to the closet floor...wean him off the ice cold turkey. Last time I heard him, he was mumbling about Joe Montana, glory holes and Thailand. Perv.
2/2 with my picks; it’s DEN-SEA. SEA wins it all.
Navorro Bowman’s leg injury on the non-fumble looked horrible.
A couple of bad decisions, yes, but overall...he didn't look that bad.
He's young, and still a bit on the cocky side...he'll get better under Harbaugh in S.F.
Our QB here in Detroit had yet another second-half collapse after signing a mucho-big contract extension. Now he gets to blame it on a whole new coaching staff next year should he stink up the place yet again. The guy didn't even hardly play his first 2 years due to injuries.
...like I said...I'd gladly take Kaepernick over this over-paid/side-arm "gunslinger".
Now you’re talking single games. Colin’s laid a few eggs this season. But he’s a better QB over the whole season, stronger, faster, with a deeper ball and a run threat, he’s just got to work on his consistency. Once he develops accuracy from the pocket he’ll be top 5 in the league, right now he’s top 10, Smith is your basic Trent Dilfer-esque game manager.
That would be a lotta gay.
