I am kind of amazed about this, I just assumed that he would work the Art Bell circuit because he was into so much crazy stuff, for instance when I met him he was a good looking guy, in a nice suit, and wearing a classy pyramid on his head.
That was in Los Angeles when I hit a happy hour to drink away the hours of rush hour traffic, I spotted him across the room at the bar talking up females and said, “no ansel12, not this time, you have to get back to San Diego tonight, so ignore the well dressed man wearing a pyramid on his head, who looks interesting as all get out and like a great partner for picking up chicks”, anyway, I eventually went over to ask what the story was and it began, from then on when he was in San Diego he would come by to pick me up, and we would go party, and we were a great team.
He was a pretty intense guy, as was I, and I loved his wild tales and he would always bring me free bottles of vitamins that he sold.
