There is currently a snowy owl ‘irruption’ with one snowy seen as far south as FL this year. Birdwatchers are very excited to have these gorgeous birds in their areas. Here is a link to a good article and a beautiful video on snowy owls .... enjoy!

I had a snowy owl in my driveway the weekend before Christmas - it just sat there on a stump for quite awhile, then when we drove closer it flew up into the sky right in front of us. Just beautiful!

This week I'm really only seeing grackles and crows or ravens - they are black, flying in groups, stopping in my trees, then moving on.
