Go to Wal-Mart, get an inside passive digital antenna $50 or less, fasten to top-most window-pane near your TV and enjoy OTA HD programming. It takes about 2 weeks max to deal with Cable/satellite TV withdrawal. Then, your life will be better without the cable or satellite disc. Thank me later.

Allow me too correct it for you. You "MIGHT" possibly get programing then again you might not depending on terrain. I live about 10 air miles from four network towers to the south of me. I'm on the north slope of a very high ridge. No signal. None Nada even with an outdoor antenna on a pole. That's why about 20 years ago I bought a C-Band dish and later a Direct TV system when their technology evolved. I have enough sense and self control to understand how a remote control works and censor what channels I don't like just as I have enough common sense to avoidcertain websites.

Now some words for the so called purist. Got Cell Phones? Many cell corps support liberal causes. Got AT&T? The same and oh BTW in 99% of these United States you will use and support AT&T no matter who your landline or cell carrier actually is. You will use AT&T's grid. Got Comcast? They own what? MSNBC isn't it? Got Comcast phone? You still use AT&T switching.

Personally I watch a handful of shows like Duck Dynasty, Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers, Yukon Men, Alaska the last Frontier, and just a few more. My TV Guide is set on about a dozen channels. I don't even have any network news on My Favorites.

No I'm not cutting off my satellite TV service. My war isn't with my satellite company. I choose what I wish to watch. If it were just me I'd likely have only a very few channels I'd even pay for. My keeping up with the news etc is done on line on slow 52K dial up. My wife's only ability to get news and entertainment and for that matter religious broadcast though is TV and I'm not depriving her of it.

The purist who thump their chest saying we cut off our TV still it seems use the Internet which is subsidized & supported by whom? Be smart in your battles and don't toss aside what useful tool you have. The best way to control TV content is remote control first and protesting to sponsors second.
