Like I said in my first post, I’m in the minority. The only reason I posted was because I’ve waited the past few days for someone to say the things I was thinking. How do people see the sin and degradation of homosexuality and not the crude and uncouth manner of Phil Robertson? AND NO, I am not comparing the two. I know I’m a pretty old fossil but surely I can’t be the only one left in the country that is turned off by his manner. I suppose if it was an issue, people would say that A&E writes the scripts for him to be more mainstream. HA! Then why not the rest of the family? I really can’t get over the older generation being more smutty than the younger one.

THEN why is his home on the TV show shown as an average ranch style home with outdoor sheds/barns? Is that what they build for gated communities in Louisiana? Granted the boys have pretty terrific looking mansions but Phil?
Don’t tell me we’re going to find out that the portrayal of the family is totally bogus. I started watching the show when I first saw the elder Robertson living like the rest of us in spite of his multimillionaire status.
It may be because Phil admits to be a reprobate before he found Christ. For some the change is dramatic and for others it's gradual.
