I haven't looked at your other thread, but one of the coolest things I have ever seen was probably in Hot Rod magazine in the 70s. Yes, I'm old.
Someone took two Volkswagen Beetles, cut them in half, and stuck the two front ends together and made it into a working automobile.

I remember years ago I saw a picture in a car magazine of an early 60s Chevy where the entire body had been rotated 180 on the frame. Except for the fact that it always looked like it was going backwards, it was street legal and normal looking, not a show car. Obviously, the lights were modified.
The cops took a very dim view of it, though. As I recall, they told him in no uncertain terms to get it off the road.
