Conservative radio talk show host Glenn Beck took to the airwaves to lambaste the Republican leadership in Congress, calling House Speaker John Boehner "worthless," and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell a "liar."

Speaking Thursday on the Mark Levin radio show, Beck lashed out against the GOP establishment leaders, referring to them as "big government progressives."

"I think John Boehner is one of the prime examples of worthless, worthless Republicans. All these people saying, 'Hey, the Republicans aren't so bad.' No. I think they actually might be worse, because they claim to be something that they're not," Beck said.

Levin labeled Boehner "utterly feckless," prompting Beck to go a step further, saying, "People like John Boehner have got to go."

"I will not vote for another Republican who is just a Republican who says, 'Well, you know, we got to do what we got to do.' No we don't, we have to take a stand," Beck said, adding that conservative GOP Sens. Mike Lee of Utah and Ted Cruz of Texas are examples of lawmakers who have taken a stand.

"They're heroes," Beck said. "Meanwhile, the John Boehners and the Mitch McConnells of the world are trying to take Ted Cruz and Mike Lee and destroy them. Mitch McConnell is the biggest two-faced liar I've ever seen. I'm sorry; I have no respect for them."

Beck also said people like Boehner are responsible for passing government programs that "have nothing to do with the Constitution" and, referring to the $17 trillion national debt, he said the Republican leadership has "sold our children into slavery so they can have power."

I heard the interview last night. It's great to see the band getting back together.

How this can be is that you seem to recall, meaning you don’t actually recall, hundreds of Creepers, an obvious exaggeration, bashing any alternatives, which there aren’t. Besides, not everyone who posts on Free Republic is actually a Freeper, and neither is everyone who calls themselves one. It is an open forum which is obviously exploited by trolls from time to time who wish to sow dissension among conservatives. Not accusing you necessarily, just saying.

Creepers would have been Freepers if not for autocorrect.

Amen, brother! Heads up on THAT. Beware, the compromise lobby, on FR, is once again signaling it’s election time, and are starting to rear their head, in spades.

The latest term I’ve seen posted is “adapt”; we’ve all got to “adapt”, for electoral reasons, don’tcha know?

Guess these establishment types ran into a brick wall with the word “compromise”. We rubes need to “compromise” more.

FR is seeing it start up, again.

I was real sorry to hear Rand Paul endorse the gobbler (mcconnell) on Hannity’s radio show yesterday. I like Rand but fear that he is now being influenced by the entrenched RINO’s. That cesspool corrupts everyone.

When I realized that boner and McConnel would rather put the Tea Party in ruins than defeat obumbler and the dims.....

That is when I finally realized what a mess this country is in.

We are in real trouble.

I can’t recall the exact words he used, but the mancrush is definitely over.

I remember Beck’s saying to Ryan: “Please don’t be a scumbag.”

In short, Beck’s position now is that Ryan turned out to be a scumbag.

Boehner’s ‘Worthless’ and McConnell’s a ‘Liar’.

That sums it up. Not much to add.

Listening to Glenn this morning (and on past radio shows), he cannot recall how or when this supposed "feud" started. A while back, he reached out to Sean, Mark, and Rush and (paraphrasing) asked for forgiveness for however he might have slighted them.

Sean now rents Glenn's corner office in NYC while Sean's studios are being renovated.

Mark was on Glenn's radio show a couple of weeks ago promoting his book. And now, Glenn is on Mark's show promoting his book.

Whether it's détente or a realization of common goals, I am all for it.

When Trent Lott was dethroned, I thought things could only improve.

When Tom Daschle was tossed out on his ear, I thought things would get better.

Boy was I naive.

I don’t know who Reid, McConnell, Boner, Pelosi and the rest of these politicians represent, but it certainly isn’t the people and it ain’t the Constitution.

Its the politicians vs the people.

The D’s and the R’s are like WWE wrestling - its all scripted, a show put on for the chumps.

Good for Beck for calling it as it is.

McConnell and now Boehner have declared war on conservatives and the Tea Party.

It’s time to fire back and Beck is doing so. By the 2014 primaries even the lowest of low information Republican voters should know what is going on with these frauds.

It is better to have a lion leading an army of sheep, than to have a sheep heading an army of lions.

Boehner, Cantor, and McConnell are sheep. They also have many sheep-like followers in positions of authority with power. Following them leads to certain disaster.

Republicans will face intense pressure over unemployment benefits
BY GREG SARGENT
December 11 at 12:24 pm
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2013/12/11/republicans-will-face-intense-pressure-over-unemployment-benefits/

[snip] The imminent expiration of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation program for 1.3 million Americans is mostly being treated as a fait accompli in Washington... (Dems have created an interactive map showing how many people in each state stand to lose benefits.)... This strategy includes placing Op ed pieces by Democrats in papers that serve the districts of top Republicans, such as this one by Rep. Sander Levin in the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the largest paper in John Boehner’s home state. The game plan is granular: One Democrat points out to me that stats are available on how many would lose benefits on the county level, and that Dems are trying to push these numbers into the coverage, because it is tangible for people in local communities. [/snip]
