I haven't met a Surenus,Remember, Oceanus, Mercy, Charity, or Serenity in my life. I've hear of women called Patience, but never met one (probably the false advertising issue). So I guess you proved the point about odd names standing out, mainly for being odd.
Somehow, Puritans naming theit children after the seven virtues seems normal. And don’t forget Hawthorne’s Young Goodman Brown.
I’ve known a couple named Charity, and at least two Patiences that I can think of.
