First lady Michelle Obama had all eyes on her Sunday during the Kennedy Center Honors where the achievements of singer Billy Joel, actress Shirley MacLaine and others were acknowledged.
The first lady manages to look absolutely stunning in pieces by J. Crew, so it was no surprise that she looked flawless in a flowing emerald green Marchesa gown.
While the bodice of the dress is similar to gowns she has worn in the past, the intricate draping details on her arms gave it an elegant flair. The arm drape also showed off the first ladys exceptionally toned biceps as she held hands with President Barack Obama.
The first lady kept the accessories to a minimum, which was a wise fashion choice considering the dress was a stand-out all on its own.
As for her hair, the first lady sported large face-framing curls and allowed her simple neckwear to shine.

Looks like her dress is falling down to me.
Who pays for Moochele’s designer clothes?
At least the color was a good one on her.
She’s a sweathog.
Sorry, FRiends, I think she looks uncharacteristically good. That’s not the best color for her, but that’s a very nice gown (for a change) and almost anyone would look good in it. Such a shame the shoulder straps weren’t pinned into place. How much did I spend on those curtains and wig?
Lol! Still one of the funniest bits ever.
I'm seen lots of far uglier ones...
What I care about is her soul sucking hatred of American...

That’s definitely a possibility.
OMG!!!!*!!!
That’s PRICELESS!&*!?!! HAHAHAHA!
I love emerald green, myself; it’s a good color on me. Only Michelle could stink it up for me.
Why can’t her dresses ever look normal, instead of gimmicky?
How did *that* happen?
Oh, please. She looked like somebody combed her hair with an eggbeater.
Lol!
We made her Laura’s] recipe for Cowboy cookies.....they are a HIT!
