An Iraq veteran who thought he was buying an iPad as a Christmas present after responding to a Craigslist posting, has been shot dead in an Indianapolis parking lot by the fake sellers. New-dad Jim Vester, 32, was lured to an address on Wednesday in the west side of the city and brothers Tyron Kincade, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18, have been arrested after Vester was shot dead leaving behind his one-year-old son, Gavin and wife, Jamie. In the wake of the senseless murder, nearly 1,500 people have donated $58,000 to a YouCaring.com fundraiser set up by Vester's family for the man described as a 'great cook, loving father and faithful man.' 'He would drop everything and cross town to help you and your family,' friend Master Sgt. Jerry Wurm said.

As have I. The media love these CL murder stories because they loath Craig's List and the damage it's done to want-ad revenues.
Like anything else in life, situational awareness is called for. If the ad sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If the buyer or seller on the other end of the phone is speaking in an incomprehensible ebonics babble (as these two geniuses surely were), red lights should start flashing. If your GPS is taking you to the ghetto, red lights should start flashing.
I'm guessing there were many voices in the back of Vester's head telling him something didn't seem right and he chose to ignore them.
Craigslist = hunting over bait......
Sad story, prayers for this guys family and friends.
Round up everyone in their family, from third cousins and in-laws down.
Then, employ the practice of decimation. That will make families think hard about keeping their relatives in line.
African names=ghetto vermin trash.
I don’t even like having certain people working around my house because if they hate me because I am white they could hurt my house or me
Meanwhile, the violent crime rate in England (source of the daily U.S. crime news) is higher per capita than in the U.S.A., and the U.K. continues to be rapidly saturated with violent rapists and murderers from the Middle East.
I am not sure what the guy thought he was getting, but I wonder how he could conclude that a couple of black youths were going to sell him an iPad that was anything but stolen. He had to suspect that it was. Unless he was going to steal it from them and return it to the rightful owner, he had no business trying to buy it. Receiving stolen property is a felony.
An interesting aside: I know a woman who was buying what she thought was a MacBook Air. She looked at it, it was in a Best Buy box, wrapped in bubble wrap, had the Apple logo on it. The guy, who coincidentally was black, wanted only two hundred dollars for it. She gave him the money, and after he gave her the box, she found out that it was two ceramic floor tiles taped together with electrical tape, and a convincing-looking Apple sticker. It was a mite awkward to ask her what the perp looked like, because she was black herself.
I looked at their fb pix.
Bunch of punk gangsters.
They posted pix of themselves and their friends throwing gang signs and flipping the bird.
Re: the Craigslist sale
They premeditated the crime, then added murder to the initial robbery.
Try em and fry em or give em the needle.
There is no such thing as senseless violence. There is always a motive.
Buying a used iPad from Tyron and Tyshaune means buying a stolen iPad.
Just sayin’.
When initially reading the article and saw it was Indianapolis, I suspected I would read names like Teyron Kincade, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18. Obviously my suspicions were correct. Two Amish kids again.
Young black men: 3% of the population. 50% of the murder.
Just because somebody posts here, does not guarantee that they have any appreciation for the sacrifices made by our military. Some people sign up here just so they can mock everything we hold dear. And if it’s something sacred, they make it a point to be especially vile. They can’t help it. They’re morons.
I wouldn’t meet one of these kind of people anywhere to sell or buy something. And I sure as hell wouldn’t tell them where I live. I guess that means I’ll never sell anything to an individual.
I gladly volunteer as the axe man..
All I get off Craigs List are emails such as: “Are the items still for sale? Send me your e-mail address so I can make immediate payment for your price”
Thinking I know about where this terrible crime
took place...close to the McDonalds where you
turn to go to Cleremont.
Wish these thugs could get the needle.
Looks like the next time I answer a Craigslist ad I’ll need to arrange sniper escort & coverage.
