There just are not enough good quarterbacks to go around; that said, the Bears backup, McCown, did very well, probably better than Cutler would have last night.

Staubach went to NMMI, New Mexico Military Institute in my hometown of Roswell, though I left that area out of frustration. Walker must have gone there around 1909, gee, New Mexico wasn’t even a state then, sometime way back then he attended.
I think they’d call Staubach “Roger Dodger” but I’m not positive.
I’m not a huge fan of Romo but um they were talking about how HISTORICALLY BAD their defense is. And here I was worried about my Bears defense (they indeed tied the record for games with consecutive 100 yard rushers against).
I mean, the Bears scored on every possession but the final kneel-down. 45 points, we never score that many. Zero punts, Denver also didn’t punt against them. I forget when they said the last time a team had 2 opponents that didn’t have to punt against them in the same year but it was a while ago, I think they said 81’ Packers were the only other team since 1940. Yikes.
The team is always called “talented” but they can’t be on defense, right? And Monte Kiffin must be doing badly. Jerry Jones is moron, did you hear his comments? HE is the real problem in Dallas.
They ain’t losing this year because of Romo, that’s for sure. Look at that Denver game, he had the game-losing INT yes but he also put up enough points to win 98% of NFL games.
Oddly enough if they win out they still control their own destiny.

It is called injuries. This is how biased the sports media is against Dallas. When Green Bay or New England gets a third of these injuries, that’s all we hear. Dallas has been pretty banged up all year. Dallas’s offense did pretty well last night. They averaged about 6 yards a play. They lost the Detroit game because they did not have a running game due to injuries.

It’s the coaching and the owner needing to let the coach coach.
The coaches are allowed to coach. Ryan was fired and they got Monte Kiffen. I remember when he coached NC State 30 years ago he had a halftime lead on UNC 10-0, but decided to start the second half of the game with a surprise onside kick that failed.
UNC went to score and win.
