Ison has orbital elements similar to the Great Comet of 1680.
Ison may be a fragment of it or an earlier parent body.
And you obviously truly believe we will be hit by ISON.
When it fails to hit us, will you admit that such predictions were wrong?

We are not at all likely to get anything from ISON. The only portion of ISONs orbit that Earth approaches is the inbound leg, odds of anything being there will be slim.
