Ison has orbital elements similar to the Great Comet of 1680.
Ison may be a fragment of it or an earlier parent body.
And you obviously truly believe we will be hit by ISON.
When it fails to hit us, will you admit that such predictions were wrong?

No, but I do believe there's a real possibility of that,
and we should be keeping a closer eye on that debris, especially with the
space radar at Kwajalein Atoll, and any other space radar station we used to keep a safe eye out for the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.

China should watch for it also, since they too, have the capability, as they try to keep debris from the China Dragon Space Station.
