I really don't think so. If this Railroad had/has an engineer by that name, I never met him. Of course, I haven't met all of them.. ;-)

That type of coupling has always just been known as a Buckeye, ‘ere.
It has been used on HSTs since the 1970s and freight from the early 90s.
