It got chilly in August and was getting cold by September. The grandkids couldn't use their little pool the last 2 weeks of August. They needed sweaters to go outside after breakfast.
This has to be the coolest/coldest fall/winter that I can remember..............and I grew up in Toledo by Lake Erie.

"The grandkids couldn't use their little pool the last 2 weeks of August. They needed sweaters to go outside after breakfast." I'd just be thinking about "Uncle Darksheare". That would be enough to make me sweat.

It was cold early, here, too, and usually, after about three weeks, I’ve had enough. Well, it’s been almost three months and I’m ready to fly south for the winter.
But wait: I AM south! LOL!
